Well, crap
I hope whatever you got for $5,000/hour was worth destroying what was the most promising political career in politics today.
No serious baggage, but not an empty suit either, wildly popular around the country -- a great rising Democrat, poof. Gone.
Shows his true integrity. Glad he is gone.

Really?!?! That's where we are going to place the blame, here? Really... I mean he did nothing wrong here, right? It's all someone else's fault?
He destroyed his own career. He had serious baggage - we just didn't know about it until today. He wasn't wildly popular if you watched CNBC today. They say his approval rating was around 30%.

Lazy Man, I have no idea what you're talking about! The "you" who paid $5k/hour was Spitzer (unless you're suggesting it was technically an aide who handled the money exchange or something?), and therefore it's him that I'm blaming for destroying his career.
I know that he's faced some recent scandals in NY (um, before this one, I mean), but here in my section of the country we pay close enough attention to like what he did on Wall Street and as AG generally but not enough to care too much about his every misstep as governor of not-our-state. So he was pretty darn popular.
